Just Gymnastics
Gymnastic/tumbling classes pre-school through middle school.
Classes are based on age and ability.
Level 1 approx. 1st & 2nd grade
Level 2 approx. 2nd, 3rd & 4th grade
Level 3 approx. 4th, 5th, 6th & older grade
Ballet Graded Syllabus
The Cecchetti Council has age limitations on their ballet exams. A student must be a minimum of age 10 and have been trained in the grade one syllabus in order to take their Grade One Exam.
The Pre-Grade One Syllabus is separated into Primary One, Primary Two and Primary Three.
Primary One—ages 5-7
Primary Two—ages 6-8
Primary Three—ages 7-10
Graded Syllabus One through Diploma starting at age 10 and over.
POINTE SHOES (Toe shoes)
Our students must pass their grade one exam and be at least 12 years old before being considered for pointe shoes.
This form of advanced ballet requires strength, technique and correct posture. Students must be dedicated to their ballet.
Tap Graded Syllabus
Students will be placed in classes which have the syllabus to accommodate their ability. Ages may vary.
Tap levels 1 & 2
BRONZE – Tap III
SILVER – Tap IV & V
GOLD – Tap VI & VII
PLATINUM – Tap VIII

1. COSTUME Fundraiser PAGEANT
Students who have had excellent attendance may participate in the Costume Fundraiser Pageant held at Consuming Fire. We will auction some of the costumes, and the proceeds go to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital, and the Make a Wish Foundation
PLEASE eMAIL or CALL IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE ABSENT, SO YOU RECEIVE PARTIAL CREDIT FOR ATTENDANCE.
2. WINTER BALLET (recital)
This is a new endeavor. As stated in one of last year’s newsletters, the students who participate in the summer dance classes will perform in the WINTER BALLET.
3. FUND RAISERS
The student’s at Consuming Fire are requested to participate in the fundraising efforts. The costumes are purchased by the studio, for the students to use for the recitals. There are also facility rental fees, advertising fees and overhead costs. Should you choose not to participate, you will be required to donate the amount of money you/your child needed to raise.
4. WHAT TO WEAR to class
Solid colored leotard
Pink tights (you will need pink tights for the recital)
Jazz students may wear jazz pants
NO street clothes
NO jeans; jean shorts; jean skirts, etc.
NO dangling jewelry
HAIR: Pulled back in a pony tail, braid, etc.
Ballet shoes: PINK
Tap shoes: BLACK - beginning with Tap III, specific shoes will be ordered.
WEAR COVER UPS OUTSIDE THE STUDIO
Please DO NOT wander around town in just your leotard and tights.
